Tooth Gem FAQ

HOW ARE TOOTH GEMS ATTACHED?

Crystals and gold are bonded to your tooth using dental grade adhesive and UV light curing. The process is like installing an orthodontic bracket. And is both painless and relatively fast. There is no drilling involved, and the process is semi-permanent.

HOW DO I GET THEM REMOVED?

An office visit to your dentist should be simple to remove the gem and buff out the adhesive on your tooth. We do not do removals as those are required to be complete by dental professionals.

ARE THEY SAFE?

Yes. We only use certified advanced Swarovski, lead-free crystals and quality gold designed for dental installation. Should these materials be swallowed, they are safe to pass normally.

IS MY TOOTH A GOOD CANDIDATE?

Charms, crystals, and gems can only be bonded on organic material which excludes veneers, dentures, or gold teeth. Teeth should be in good health.

CAN I BRING MY OWN GEM?

You cannot bring any outside gems into the studio for application. We would have no way of verifying that it is quality material and cannot take responsibility for use of any outside materials.

DO I NEED TO BE 18+?

In order to get tooth gems, you must legally be 18 years of age. You can bring a parent or legal guardian with you and have them give parental consent and fill your paperwork out for you.
